REVIEW) AND TO ADD A NEW SECTION 2-91.6 (PUBLIC ARTS COMMISSION), ALL OF
ARTICLE VII (COMPENSATION FOR BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS), CHAPTER 2
(ADMINISTRATION) OF THE CODE OF THE TOWN OF LEESBURG, VIRGINIA, 1976, AS
AMENDED.
Summary
The proposed Ordinance will result in an increase in the compensation for Board of
Architecture Review members to $3,000.00 annually ($3,150.00 annually for the Chair) and will
authorize compensation for the members of the Public Arts Commission in the amount of$600.00
annually.

BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS), CHAPTER 2 (ADMINISTRATION)
OF THE CODE OF THE TOWN OF LEESBURG, VIRGINIA, 1976, AS
AMENDED.
The Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia hereby ordains:
SECTION 1. Section 2-88 (BOARD OF ARCHITECTURE REVIEW) of Article VII
(COMPENSATION FOR BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS), Chapter 2 (ADMINISTRATION) of
the Code of The Town of Lees burg, Virginia, 1976, as amended, be and the same hereby is
amended to read as follows:
Sec. 2-88. Board of architectural review.
Compensation of members of the town board of architectural review, exclusive of the
councilmanic appointment. shall be $3.000.00 per annum. payable in equal monthly installments.
Compensation of the chainnan of the town board of architectural review shall be $3.150.00 per
annum. payable in equal monthly installments.

SECTION II. Article VII (COMPENSATION FOR BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS),
Chapter 2 (ADMINISTRATION) of the Code of The Town of Leesburg, Virginia, 1976, as
amended, be and the same hereby is amended by adding a new section Sec. 2-91.6. (Public Arts
Commission) to read as follows:

AMENDED.
Sec. 2-91.6. Public Arts commission.
Compensation of members of the public arts commission. exclusive of the councilmanic
appointee. shall be $600.00 per annum. payable in equal monthly installments.
SECTION IlL This Ordinance shall become effective upon the date and at the time of its
final passage.
SECTION IV. If any provision of this ordinance is declared invalid, the decision shall
not affect the validity of the ordinance as a whole or any remaining provisions of the ordinance.
