A RESOLUTION OF THE CfTY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TEMPLE CITY, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING
PROHIBITED PARKING ON THE WEST SIDE OF
ROSEMEAD BOULEVARD NORTH OF LONGDEN AVENUE
IN CONJUNCTION WITH STATE HIGHWAY SIGNAL
MODIFICATION AND CHANNELIZATION.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Temple City
has received a recommendation from the Traffic Commission of the
City of Temple City recommending the approval of a State Highway
plan for signal modification and channelization at the inter-
section of Rosemead Boulevard and Longden Avenue; and
WHEREAS, one of the provisions of the State Highway plan
requires that parking be prohibited on the west side of Rosemead
Boulevard from the center line of Longden Avenue to a point 360
feet north thereof; and
WHEREAS, this resolution shall cease to be operative six
months after by the City Council of written notice of the with-
drawal of approval of the Department of Public Works;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
of the City of Temple City does hereby approve of the aforemen-
tioned prohibited parking.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 25th day of May, 1964, by the
following vote:
AYES: Councilmen- Dickason, Harker, Nunamaker, Tyrell, Merritt
NOES: Councilmen- None
ABSENT: Councilmen- None
