The meeting was called to order by Vice Chairman Hughes at 8:15 a.m., and a quorum was
present at that time.
1. Introduction
Bryan Wolford was introduced to the Commission as the new Counselor for the City.
2. Acceptance of the December10, 2014 meeting minutes
Mr. Kross moved and Mr. Towner seconded to approve the minutes. Motion carried.
3. New Business
a) Parking and Traffic Control report for the intersection of Monroe and Woodlawn
(Requestor: Staff)
Mr. Bange reported on action taken as it relates to the traffic control at the
intersection of Monroe and Woodlawn due to the construction project on Monroe Street
and Stadium Blvd near Capital Region Hospital. No commission action was needed on
the item.

b) Passenger loading zone on Jefferson Street near the train station (Requestor: Staff)
Mr. Smith gave the staff report and stated that while conducting recent work on
Water Street, it was noticed that a passenger loading zone in the vicinity would be
beneficial, due to the amount of passengers riding the train.
After a brief discuss Mr. Schwartze moved and Mr. Kross seconded to approve
staff recommendation. All in favor, motion carried.
c) Traffic study report on Yorktown and Rolling Hill Road (Requestor: Staff)
Mr. Bange stated that staff had set out traffic counters in the area, but failed to
realize that the Jefferson City Public Schools were on spring break. Due to that fact, they
were unable to get an accurate count and this item will be brought back to the May
meeting.

A motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Mr. Towner, and seconded by Mr.
Murray. Meeting adjourned at 8:48 a.m.
