Doug Ruediger Staff Liaisons (present) Carlos Graham Staff (present) Britt Smith Beth Sweeten Bryan Wolford Guest(s): Charles Goodin The meeting was called to order by Chairman Ahlers at 8:15 a.m., and a quorum was present at that time. 1. Introduction There were no introductions. 2. Acceptance of the April 8, 2015 meeting minutes Mr. Kross moved and Mr. Schwartze seconded to approve the minutes. Motion carried. 3. New Business a) Adding a commercial loading zone in front of Paddy Malone’s (Requestor: Councilman Mihalevich) Mr. Smith said the area directly in front of Paddy Malone’s is currently marked as a no parking zone. The owner of the establishment, through Councilman Mihalevich, requests that the area be changed to a short term loading zone for commercial vehicles, similar to APPROVED May 13, 2015 those within the downtown area. Given the short duration (15 minutes) staff supports the request. Business owners adjacent to the area have been notified of the request. After a brief discussion, Ms. Deetz moved and Mr. Kross seconded to approve staff recommendation. All in favor, motion carried. 4) Old Business a) Traffic study report on Yorktown and Rolling Hill Road (Requestor: staff) Mr. Smith stated the traffic study in the area was complete and went over the data with the commission. Mr. Goodin was present to speak on the neighborhood behalf. He stated that he would like to see the area marked as a no through truck area and have another access point to the new interchange. 5) Other Business a) No other business 4. Adjourn A motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Mr. Kross, and seconded by Mr. Schwartze. Meeting adjourned at 8:50 a.m.
