RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING BIDDING OF THE SEWER SYSTEM
EMERGENCY SERVICE CONTRACT
WHEREAS, from time to time throughout the year the Borough of Carteret ("the
Borough") is in need on an emergency basis of specialized sewer repair services;
and
WHEREAS, by the nature of the event which necessitates the need, the repair
services can be bid; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council have determined that it is in the best interest
of the Borough to have an emergency services contract in place in order to be
prepared for unexpected repairs.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the
Borough of Carteret that the Borough's Purchasing Agent be and is hereby
directed to prepare bid specifications and to advertise for a sewer system
emergency service contract.
BE, IT, FURTHER, RESOLVED that this Resolution shall take effect
immediately.
Adopted this 19th day of February, 2004
and certified as a true copy of the
