OF THE LEESBURG ZONING ORDINANCE, I-1, INDUSTRIAL/RESEARCH PARK DISTRICT, AND SECTION 9.2, USE TABLE, TO PERMIT RECREATION FACILITIES, IN EXISTING BUILDINGS ONLY, AS A BY-RIGHT USE IN THE I-1 ZONING DISTRICT WHEREAS, these amendments will provide for the diverse employment needs of the Town; and WHEREAS, these amendments will provide enhanced opportunities to utilize vacant building stock in the I-1 zoning district; and WHEREAS, the Leesburg Planning Commission voted unanimously to recommend adoption of the amendments; and WHEREAS, the public necessity, convenience, general welfare and good zoning practice are served by these amendments. THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as follows: SECTION I. That Subsection 6.7 I-1, Industrial/Research Park District of the Zoning Ordinance of the Town of Leesburg, Virginia, 2003, as amended, is hereby created to read as follows, with changes underlined and highlighted: 6.7.2 Use Regulations Uses are allowed in the I-1 District in accordance with the following table. A "P" in the second column of the table indicates that the use is permitted by-right, subject to compliance with all applicable standards of this Zoning Ordinance. An "S" in the second column of the table indicates that the use may be allowed if reviewed and approved in -2- AN ORDINANCE: AMENDMENTS TO SECTION 6.7. In the event of conflict between this Use Table and the district-by-district listings in Article 5 an Article 6, the standards listed in Article 5 and Article 6 shall control.
