AN ORDINANCE: TOWN PLAN AMENDMENT, TLTA 2008-0002, CORNERSTONE
CHAPEL, REMOVING A PORTION OF TOLBERT LANE FROM
THE TOWN PLAN ROADWAY NETWORK POLICY MAP
WHEREAS, a Town Plan Amendment application has been filed by Cornerstone
Chapel, and is referred to as TLTA-2008-0002, Comerstone Chapel; and
WHEREAS, the amendment proposed to remove a section of Tolbert Lane, a
Local Street, from its current terminus east of Sycolin Road north and east to Battlefield
Pazkway from the Town Plan Roadway Network Policy Map; and
WHEREAS, TLTA 2008-0002 was concurrently review with Zoning Map
Amendment TLZM 2008-0001, Cornerstone Chapel, and
WHEREAS, i[ has been determined that the removal of the identified section of
Tolbert Lane from the Town Plan Roadway Network Policy Map, will not prohibit
adjacent property's access to public rights-of--way, and will not adversely impact the level
of service of the intersection of Tolbert Lane and Sycolin Road; and
WHEREAS, a duly adver[ized Planning Commission public hearing was held on
March I8, 2010; and
WHEREAS, at their regular meeting on March 18, 2010, the Planning
Commission recommended approval of [he removal of the identified section of Tolbert
Lane from the Town Plan Roadway Network Policy Map to Town Council; and
WHEREAS, a duly advertized Town Council public hearing was held on May 11,
2010; and

THE TOWN PLAN ROADWAY NETWORK POLICY MAP
WHEREAS, staff recommends approval of Town Plan Amendment TLTA 2008-
0002, Cornerstone Chapel; and
THEREFORE, ORDAINED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia
hereby approves the removal of TolbeR Lane from the current terminus east of Sycolin
Road north and east to Battlefield Pazkway from the Roadway Network Policy Map,
TLTA 2008-0002. The removal of the identified section of Tolbert Lane is contingent on
the approval of Zoning Map Amendment TLZM 2008-0001.
PASSED this 11 m day of Mav' 2010.
