AN ORDINANCE: AUTHORIZING THE TOWN MANAGER TO EXECUTE A
LICENSE AGREEMENT AND CASH BOND AGREEMENT
DATED OCTOBER, 2010, BETWEEN THE TOWN OF
LEESBURG AND NORTHERN VIRGINIA ELECTRIC
COOPERATIVE (NOVEL)
WHEREAS, Northern Virginia Electric Cooperative (NOVEL) requested a License
Agreement and Cash Bond Agreement dated October, 2010, in order to install fiber
communication lines along [he a portion of the Town's streets and right of ways; and
WHEREAS, [he Town Attomey and the Director of Public Works have negotiated
and reviewed said Agreements, and the terms contained in said License Agreement and
Cash Bond Agreement are reasonable and equitable and will benefit the Town and the
citizens of Leesburg; and
WHEREAS, the Town Attomey approves of a License Agreement and Cash Bond
Agreement between the Town of Leesburg and NOVEL.
THEREFORE, ORDAINED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in V irginia
that the Town Manager shall execute the License Agreement and Cash Bond Agreement
with NOVEL dated October, 2010.
