AN ORDINANCE: AMENDING SECTION 2 -230 (LEESBURG UTILITY RATE
ADVISORY COMMITTEE) OF ARTICLE V (BOARDS AND
COMMISSIONS) OF CHAPTER 2 (ADMINISTRATION) OF THE
TOWN CODE TO ADD AN OUT OF TOWN CUSTOMER MEMBER
TO THE LEESBURG UTILITY RATE ADVISORY COMMITTEE
The Town Council of Leesburg, Virginia, ordains:
SECTION 1. That section 2 -230 of the Town Code of Leesburg, Virginia, is hereby
amended to read as follows:
Sec. 2 -230. Leesburg Utility Rate Advisory Commission.
(d) Members. In addition to seven appointed members as outlined in division 1 of this
article, the Leesburg Utility Rate Advisory Committee shall have twe three additional out -of-
town customers as members appointed by the town council and shall serve for term of two years.
SECTION II. This Ordinance shall become effective upon the date and at the time of its
final passage.
SECTION III. If any provision of this ordinance is declared invalid, the decision shall
not affect the validity of the ordinance as a whole or any remaining provisions of the ordinance.
