HomeMy Public PortalAbout3009-1975 - TRANSFER WITHIN THE DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND RECREATION BUDGETORDINANCE NO. 3009-1975 AN ORDINANCE TO TRANSFER WITHIN THE DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND RECREATION BUDGET THE SUM OF FIVE THOUSAND, TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS ($5,200.00) FROM "SERVICES CONTRACTUAL" (2-26-262) REPAIRS OF HARDBALL & SOFTBALL LIGHTS ($2,000.00), FROM "SERVICES PERSONAL",(1.12.121) PARK PAYROLL ($3,200.00) TO "SUPPLIES" (3-37-374) HARDBALL AND SOFTBALL LIGHTS.($4,000.00), AND TO "SUPPLIES" (3-37-375) CHEMICALS ($1,200.00) WHEREAS, certain extraordinary emergencies have developed since the adoption of the existing annual budget so that it is now necessary to appropriate more money for the various functions of the City Government than was appropriated to the annual budget. SECTION 1. BE IT ORDAINED by Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, that for.the expenses of the City Government and its institutions for the year ending December'31, 1975, the following amount of money is hereby appropriatedand set apart out of the fund named and for the purpose specified. Said sum being subject to all laws governing the same. Such amount appropriated shall be held to include all expenditures to be made during the year unless expressly stipulated by law. SECTION 2. That for the said fiscal period there is hereby appropriated the following specified amount to meet the extraordinary emergency that exists: AMOUNT REQUESTED "SUPPLIES" (3-37-374) $ 4,000.00 HARDBALL AND SOFTBALL LIGHTS "SUPPLIES" (3-37-375) $ 1,200.00 CHEMICALS SECTION 3. WHEREAS, it has been shown that certain existing appropriations now have unobligated balances which will not be used for purpose which it was appropriated. IT IS THEREFORE ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, that such necessary existing appropriations be now reduced in amount as follows: REQUESTED REDUCTION "SERVICES CONTRACTUAL" (2-26-262) $ 2,000.00 REPAIRS TO HARDBALL AND SOFTBALL - LIGHTS "SERVICES PERSONAL" (1.12.121) $ 3,200.00 PARK PAYROLL SECTION 4. An extraordinary emergency exists for the above appropriations. SECTION 5. This Ordinance Shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval by the Mayor and is subject to the laws of the State of Indiana, governing emergency appropriations.
