AN ORDINANCE: TO REPEAL AN ORDINANCE ADOPTED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL
ON JUNE 21, 1965, ESTABLISHING THE AIRPORT FUND; TO
AMEND THE TOWN CODE CHAPTER 6 (AVIATION), ARTICLE II
(LEESBURG EXECUTIVE AIRPORT), SECTION 6 -22 (a) (FIXED
BASE OPERATOR LICENSE FEE) TO STATE THAT FIXED BASED
OPERATOR LICENSE FEES ARE TO BE DEPOSITED IN THE
GENERAL FUND AND TO STATE THE CORRECT SECTION OF
THE RULES AND REGUALTIONS APPLICABLE TO FIXED BASED
OPERATOR LICENSE FEES; AND TO AUTHORIZE ACCOUNTING
CHANGES FOR APPROPRIATIONS MADE AND REVENUE
COLLECTED FOR THE LEESBURG EXECUTIVE AIRPORT AND
AIRPORT CAPITAL PROJECTS
The Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia hereby ordains:
SECTION I. That an ordinance enacted by the Town Council of Leesburg dated June
21, 1965 establishing the Airport Fund is hereby repealed.
SECTION II. That Leesburg Town Code Chapter 6 (Aviation), Article II (Leesburg
Executive Airport), Section 6 -22 (a) (Fixed Base Operator License Fee) be and the same is
hereby amended to read as follows:
Section 6 -22 Fixed base operator license fees.
(a) Before any person is issued a fixed base operator's license under chapter I4I 3, section 4-2
LW of the airport rules and regulations, he shall pay to the town all of the fees as
established herein. Fees collected shall be credited to the air-pei4 fiRid general fund in the

SECTION III. All appropriations made and revenues collected from operations of the
Leesburg Executive Airport shall be deposited in the Town of Leesburg General Fund as of the
effective date of this ordinance.

COLLECTED FOR THE LEESBURG EXECUTIVE AIRPORT AND
AIRPORT CAPITAL PROJECTS
SECTION IV. All appropriations made and revenues collected for airport fund capital
projects shall be deposited in the Town of Leesburg Capital Project Fund as of the effective date
of this ordinance.
SECTION V. All prior ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION VI. Severability. If a court of competent jurisdiction declares any provision
of this ordinance invalid, the decision shall not affect the validity of the ordinance as a whole or
any remaining provisions of the Leesburg Town Code.
SECTION VII. This ordinance shall be effective June 29, 2012.
