AN ORDINANCE: TO AMEND THE LEESBURG OFFICIAL ZONING MAP TO REZONE
CERTAIN PARCELS FROM THE B -1, B -2, B -3, PRN, R -6 AND R -8,
ZONING DISTRICTS, AND THE H -1 AND H -2 OVERLAY ZONING
DISTRICTS TO ESTABLISH THE CRESCENT DESIGN ZONING
DISTRICT
The Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia hereby ordains:
SECTION I. That the Leesburg Official Zoning Map is hereby amended to rezone 208
specific parcels from the B -1 (Community Downtown Business) District, the B -2 (Established
Corridor Commercial) District, B -3 (Community Retail /Commercial District), the PRN (Planned
Residential Neighborhood) District, the R -6, Moderate Density Residential District, and the R -8
(Medium Density Residential District), the H -1, Overlay, Old and Historic District and the H -2,
Historic Corridor Architectural Control Overlay District to the new form -based Crescent Design
District as set forth in Attachment 1 hereto.
SECTION II. All prior ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION III. Severability. If a court of competent jurisdiction declares any provision
of this ordinance invalid, the decision shall not affect the validity of the ordinance as a whole or
any remaining provisions of the Leesburg Official Zoning Map.
SECTION IV. This ordinance shall be effective March 1, 2013.
