HomeMy Public PortalAboutordinance 04:01No. 0/4'-~11 ~[f f[~]~ ORDINANCE EXCLUDING VEHICLES OVER DESIGNATED WEIGHT FROM CERTAIN STREETS BE IT ORDAINED, by the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Carteret, County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey as follows: Section 1. VEHICLES OVER DESIGNATED WEIGHT EXCLUDED FROM CERTAIN STREETS Vehicles over the gross weight (GVW) are hereby excluded from the streets or parts of streets described except for the pick up and delivery of materials on such streets. All Ordinances and/or provisions thereof inconsistent with the provisions of this Ordinance shall be and are hereby, repealed as to the extent of any such inconsistencies. Section 3. If any section, subsection, part, clause or phrase of this Ordinance shall be declared invalid by judgement of any Court of competent jurisdiction, the section, subsection, part, clause or phrase shall be deemed to be sever able from the remainder of this Ordinance. Section 4. This Ordinance shall take effect upon passage and publication according to applicable law and upon approval by the New Jersey Commissioner of Transportation.
