A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TEMPLE CITY SETTING ASIDE POR-
TION OF CITY OWNED PROPERTY FOR STREET
PURPOSE ON THE EASTERLY SIDE OF LIVE
OAK PARK AS A PART OF GLICKMAN AVENUE
AND BOGUE STREET.
WHEREAS, on June 26, 1961 the County of Los Angeles deed-
ed Live Oak Park to the City of Temple City, subject to the
express condition that the park would be used by the City of
Temple City for a public park and playground, and upon the con-
dition the said park would revert back to the County of Los
Angeles if not so used, and
WHEREAS, a strip of land approximately 40 feet wide on
the easterly side of said park is required for public street
purposes, for proper use of said park and for traffic circula-
tion in the area, and
WHEREAS, the County of Los Angeles has recognized the
necessity for the development of the subject roadway and waived
its reversionary rights in the respect to the portion of said
park to be used for said roadway purposes, as hereinafter de-
scribed by its waiver executed June 15, 1964,
NOW, THEREFORE THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE
CITY DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Council finds it is necessary to
public convenience that the following city owned property be
set aside for road purposes for the improvement of Glickman
Avenue and Bogue Street:
That portion of Tract No. 57, in the City of Temple City,
County of Los Angeles, State of California, as shown on map
recorded in Book 14, page 67, of Maps, in the office of the ilo -
corder of the County of Los Angeles, within the following de-
scribed boundaries:
Beginning at the intersection of the easterly line of
said tract with the northerly line of the southerly 30 feet of
said tract; thence westerly along said northerly line to the
beginning of a curve concave to the northwest, having a radius
of 15 feet, tangent to said northerly line and tangent to the
westerly line of the easterly 40 feet of said tract; thence
northeasterly along said curve to said westerly line; thence
northerly along said westerly line to the beginning of a curve
concave to the southwest, having a radius of 15 feet, tangent
to to said westerly line and tangent to the southerly line of
the northerly 30 feet of that certain parcel of land described
in deed to the County of Los Angeles, recorded as Document No.
1180, on September 29, 1950, in Book 34431, page 379, of Offi-
cial Records, in the office of said recorder; thence northwest-
erly along said last mentioned curve to said southerly line;
thence easterly along said southerly line to the easterly line
of the westerly 587 feet of said certain parcel of land; thence
northerly along said last mentioned easterly line to the nor-
therly line of said certain parcel of land; thence easterly
along said mentioned northerly line to first mentioned easterly
line; thence southerly along said first mentioned easterly line
to the point of beginning.

That portion of above described parcel of land which
lies northerly of said southerly line shall be known as BOGUE
STREET and the remainder thereof shall be known as GLICKMAN
AVENUE.
SECTION 2. The property described in Section 1, immedi-
ately above, hereby is set aside for road purposes for the km-
provement of Glickman Avenue and Bogue Street.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a
certified copy of this Resolution to be recorded in the office
of the County Recorder of Los Angeles County.
