A RECOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TEMPLE CITY REQUESTING AN ALLO-
CATION OF $20,000 FROM AID TO CITIES
FUND FOR THE RECONSTRUCTION OF DOUBLE
DRIVE, LIVE OAK AVENUE TO GRAND AVENUE;
SAID RECONSTRUCTION TO INCLUDE CURB,
GUTTER, MEDIAN, BASE, PAVING, DRAINAGE
STRUCTURES AND TRAFFIC SIGNALS.
WHEREAS, the County of Los Angeles has appropriated cer-
tain monies to the City of Temple City from the County Aid to
Cities Fund, and
WHEREAS, the City of Temple City now desires to expend
certain of these monies for authorized purposes, and
WHEREAS, proposed improvements are of general County in-
terest and are on Select System Streets which are a part of the
City's system of Select System Streets, and
WHEREAS, said Select System Streets connect directly to
designated streets on the County Master Plan of Highways,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
SECTION 1. That the County of Los Angeles is hereby re-
quested to allocate the sum of $20,000 from Aid to Cities Fund
to the City of Temple City for the purpose of reconstruction
on Double Drive, Live Oak Avenue to Grand Avenue; said recon-
struction to include curb, gutter, median, base, paving, drain-
age structures and traffic signals.
SECTION 2, That the City Council requests that all
funds be retained by the Road Department from which the final
payment for the Cities share of the aforementioned reconstruc-
tion may be taken,
ADOPTED and APPROVED this 13th day of July , 1964.
