A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TEMPLE CITY FINDING IT NECESSARY
FOR PUBLIC CONVENIENCE TO SET ASIDE A
CERTAIN PORTION OF REAL PROPERTY HERETO -
FORE REFERENCED AS "FUTURE STREET. FREER
STREET (3-2) R- 1882 - 52205" FOR PUBLIC
ROAD AND HIGHWAY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS; an order was adopted on June 26, 1939 by the
Board of Supervisors of Los Angeles County, approving the map
of Tract No. 11699, recorded in Map Book 218, page 49, in the
office of the Recorder of the County of Los Angeles, except as
to that portic ~, designated "Future Street," which portion was
rejected under the provisions of Section 11616 of the Business
and Professions Code of the State of California, and
WHEREAS, the City of Temple City is the successor by
operation of law to all rights of the County of Los Angeles in
the particular premises,
1';(M, THEREFORE, THE :CITY COUNCI.'•'., OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE
CITY DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. I: accordance with the provisions of said
Section 11616 of the Business and Professions Code of the State
of California, the said order of June 26, 1939, rejecting
dedication of Future Street, be, and the same is hereby re-
scinded.
SECTION 2. The dedication of that certain Future Street
in said. t ,_of, be, and the same is hereby accepted, and that
said street as described below be opened for public use:
That certain Future Street, in the City of Temple City
County of Los Angeles, State of California, as shown on and
offered for dedication by map of Tract No. 11699, recorded in
Book 218, page 49, of Maps, in the office of the Recorder of
said county, which lies within lots 4 and 5, said tract.
To be known as FREER STREET.
SECTION 3. The City Council expressly finds that it is
necessary to public convenience aad use that the above describe:.
property be set aside for road purposes for the improvement of
Freer street.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a
copy of this Resolution to be recorded in the office of the
County Recorder of Los Angeles County.
