AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF IONA, IDAHO;
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 280-08-22, THE
APPROPRIATIONS ORDINANCE FOR THE FISCAL YEAR
BEGINNING OCTOBER 1, 2022, AND ENDING
SEPTEMBER 30, 2023; APPROPRIATING ACCURATE
AMOUNTS FOR FUND BALANCE CARRYOVERS BY THE
CITY OF IONA, IDAHO, IN THE SUM OF $443,761.33 AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF IONA,
IDAHO THAT:
Section 1. Amendment of Fiscal Year 2023 Appropriations. Ordinance No.
280-08-22, the appropriations ordinance for the City of Iona, Idaho, for the fiscal year
commencing October 1,2022,and ending September 30,2023,be and the same is hereby amended
as follows:
That additional revenues for the general and water funds in the amount of
$443,761.33 be included from actual fund balance carryovers, and that the
additional sum of$443,761.33 be appropriated from the general and water funds
from actual fund balance carryovers; to be used for Capital Improvements and
additional Water Bond Repayments in the City of Iona.
Thus, the expenditures from the general fund will be $1,964,402.22; expenditures
from the water fund will be $1,693,358.11; and total expenses shall be
$3,657,760.33.
Section 2. Effective Date. This Ordinance shall become effective upon its passage,
execution, and publication in the manner provided by law.
PASSED BY THE COUNCIL AND APPROVED BY THE MAYOR this 15th day of
November 2022.
