Plainfield Police Department’s Elderly Services COVID-19
Plainfield, IL – Due to the COVID-19 emergency, the Plainfield Police Department’s Elderly Services Unit wants
to ensure all our residents are safe during this difficult time. If you are elderly and homebound or have family,
friends or neighbors that are elderly and homebound and live in the Village of Plainfield, please contact the
Plainfield Police Department’s Elderly Services Unit at 815-267-7200 or email triad@plainfieldpd.com. Please
provide the name, address, telephone number and/or email address of the homebound person and we will
contact them regularly to check their wellbeing and ensure their needs are being met.
We prefer all contacts to be made by telephone or email first, to limit the potential spread of the virus.
However, if no contact is made after multiple attempts, we will send someone to the residence to attempt
contact with the homebound individual. Such contact will be made using the best social distancing procedures
given each circumstance.
