BREWSTER BOARD OF SELECTMEN
MEETING OF MAY 22, 2017
ACTION ITEMS
1. One Day Liquor License – Maplewood at Brewster is requesting a one day liquor license
for a continuing education seminar with cocktail reception on Wednesday, June 14th
from 4:30pm – 6:30pm. Beer & wine will be served.
ADMINISTRATIVE RECOMMENDATION
We recommend the Board vote to approve this request.
2. One Day Entertainment License – The Ruddy Turnstone is requesting a one day
entertainment license for a wedding to be held on Saturday, June 24th from 5pm –
10pm. The entertainment is a DJ from 5pm – 10pm. The neighbors have been notified
and a shuttle bus and off-site parking has been arranged for the guests.
ADMINISTRATIVE RECOMMENDATION
We recommend the Board vote to approve this request
3. Declare Surplus Property – Several Departments have items that they would like to
have declared surplus:
a. The Recreation Department has 2 L-Shape desks that have broken drawers, legs
and peeling surfaces and one shed, which has a rotten floor and door frame.
These items have no value and will be disposed of.
b. The Stony Brook School has the attached list of items that they would like to have
declared surplus. Most of the items will be advertised for the general public;
except for the snow blower which will go to Natural Resources and the Lesco
mower, trash pump and ping pong table will be listed on GOV DEALS. The School
Committee declared these items surplus at a previous meeting.
ADMINISTRATIVE RECOMMENDATION
We recommend the Board vote to approve this request.
