A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TEMPLE CITY, CALIFORNIA, APPOINTING A MEMBER OF
S^,ID COUNCIL OF SAID CITY TO THE CITY SELECTION
COMMITTEE PURSUANT TO PART 3 OF DIVISION 10 OF
THE PUBLIC UTILITIES CODE.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY, CALIFORNIA,
DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That pursuant to the Southern California
Rapid Transit District Law, being Part 3 of Division 10 of
the Public Utilities Code, William A. Harker, a member of
said City Council, is hereby appointed as a member of the
City Selection Committee.
SECTION 2. That the within Resolution shall become
operative and the appointment made by Section 1 hereof shall
be effective on August 24, 1964.
SECTION 3. That immediately after the effective date of
the appointment hereby made, the City Clerk shall without
delay forward a certified copy of this Resolution, together
with notice of the appointment made hereby, to the Secretary
of State, and after the Southern California Rapid Transit
District has a Secretary, also to the Secretary of such
District.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this Resolution, shall cause the action of the City Council
in adopting the same to be entered in the official minutes
of said City Council, and shall retain this Resolution, duly
signed and executed by the proper City Officials, in the
official records of said City.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED, this 24th day of August, 1964.

was duly approved by the City Council of the City of Temple
City, California at a regular meeting held on August 24, 1964,
by the following roll call vote:
Ayes- Councilmen: Dickason, Harker, Tyrell, Merritt
Noes - Councilmen: None
Absent - Councilmen: Nunamaker
