HomeMy Public PortalAbout15606 Louisa and Arsenal Pump Stations (P-112 and P-113) Upgrades (12489)ORDINANCE NO. 15606 AN ORDINANCE, making an appropriation of Four Million Five Hundred Thousand Dollars ($4,500,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for pump station improvements in Louisa and Arsenal Pump Stations (P-112 and P-113) Upgrades (12489) in the City of St. Louis, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 21989 with Tarlton Corporation for pump station improvements. WHEREAS, the bid for said pump station improvements is Four Million Two Hundred Sixty-Five Thousand Dollars ($4,265,000.00) and the allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is Two Hundred Thirty-Five Thousand Dollars ($235,000.00); WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Four Million Five Hundred Thousand Dollars ($4,500,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for pump station improvements in Louisa and Arsenal Pump Stations (P-112 and P-113) Upgrades (12489) in the City of St. Louis, Missouri; and said contract shall be comprised of such other terms and conditions as are approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 21989 with Tarlton Corporation, as the lowest responsible bidder for pump station improvements in Louisa and Arsenal Pump Stations (P-112 and P-113) Upgrades (12489) in the City of St. Louis, Missouri, pursuant to bids received on the 15th day of December, 2020. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on February 11, 2021.
