WHEREAS, Jefferson Asphalt Company has become the apparent lowest and best bidder on the 2015 Mill and Overlay project. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The bid of Jefferson Asphalt Company is declared to be the lowest and best bid and is hereby accepted. Section 2. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute a $1,178,353.54 agreement with Jefferson Asphalt Company for the 2015 Mill and Overlay project. Section 3. The agreement shall be substantially the same in form and content as that agreement attached hereto as Exhibit A. Section 4. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of its passage and approval.
