AWARDING CONTRACT FOR EMERGENCY SEWER REPAIR
SERVICES
WHEREAS, thc Borough of Carterct needs to award an Emergency
Sewer Repair Services Contract to serve to serve the residents of the community;
and
WHEREAS, the' Borough Purchasing Agent has solicited and received
four (4) bid proposals for said services as follows:

3. B & W Construction $102,220.00

Rahway, NJ 07065
WHEREAS, B & W Construction submitted the lowest bid for said
emergency sewer repair services as evidenced by thc response on file with the
Borough Purchasing Agent; and
WHEREAS, thc Borough Purchasing Agent and thc Borough Financing
Department have reviewed the above bid proposals and has recommended the
award of a contract to B & W Construction, PO Box 378, Matawan, NJ 07747;
and
WHEREAS, the chief financial officer has certified that funds are or will
be available for said purpose.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of
the Borough of Carteret as follows:
1. That the appropriate Borough Officials arc hereby
authorized to enter into a contract with B & W Construction for the
sum of $102,220.00, in accordance in all respects with the request
for proposals and bid on same.
