Home My Public Portal About078-2008 - 2008 Budget Amendment - Metro Dev.dORDINANCE NO. 78-2008 AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AMENDING THE 2008 BUDGET WHEREAS, Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana adopted a budget for calendar year 2008 on September 27th, 2007 with Ordinance 45-2007; and WHEREAS, Common Council has determined it necessary to transfer money from one major budget classification to another within a department or office; and WHEREAS, the transfer does not require the expenditure of more money than the total amount set out in the budget as finally determined under Indiana Code 6-1.1-1-1 et seq.; and WHEREAS, this transfer may be made under Indiana Code 6-1.1-18-6 without notice and without the approval of the Department of Local Government Finance. NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, that the 2008 budget be amended as follows: A. General Fund — Dept. of Metropolitan Development Delete $1,500.00 from Telephone and Fax Account number 101.07.070.110.000.3210 Delete $1,000.00 from Travel Account number 101.07.070.110.000.3240 Delete $500.00 from Legal Publications Account number 101.07.070.110.000.3310 Delete $500.00 from Contractual Printing Account number 101.07.070.110.000.3320 Delete $1,500.00 from Training Account number 101.07.070.110.000.3911 Add $5,000.00 to Gasoline Account number 101.07.070.110.000.2210 Passed and adopted this _20th _ day of _October 2008, by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana.
