CITY COUNCIL
TEMPLE CITY CALIFORNIA
APRIL 8, 1964
Mayor Nunamaker called the Special Meeting of the City
Council to order at 7:00 P. M. in the Council Chambers.
ROLL CALL:
PRESENT: Councilmen- Dickason, Fitzjohn, Merritt, Tyrell, Nunamaker
ABSENT: Councilmen -None
ALSO PRESENT: City ManagerWoollett
The Mayor asked the City Manager for a report, and he in
turn called upon Mr. Sam Braecer.
Mr. Sam Braeger, 56CL. Las Tunas Dr., stated he was here
due to the fine efforts and diligence of some of the citizens of
Temple City who have worked long and hard, and he presented a pe-
tition for Parking District #1 with 61.3% signed up which is over
the required 60 %. This is presented to the Council for further
procedure as necessary.
The City Manager advised a motion was in order to receive
and file and to instruct the City Clerk to report on the sufficiency
of the petition. Councilman Dickason so moved, Councilman Merritt
seconded, roll call vote to carr: as follows:
AYES: Councilmen - Dickason, Fitzjohn, Merritt, Tyrell, Nunamaker
NOES: Councilmen -None
ABSENT: Councilmen -None
Councilman Merritt moved to adjourn, Councilman Dickason
seconded, and carried. Council adjourned until the next regular
meeting on April 13, 1564, at 7:30 P. M., 9664 Las Tunas Drive.
