RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY, CALIFORNIA,
MAKING DETERMINATIONS AND CONFIRMING
ASSESSMENT IN MATTER OF VEHICLE PARK-
ING DISTRICT NO. Q OF SAID CITY
WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 64 -133 of the City of Temple City,
California, adopted May 11, 1964, this City Council fixed and estab-
lished the boundaries of Vehicle Parking District No. 2 of said City,
declared that said district had been duly formed under the provisions
of the Vehicle Parking District Law of 1943 (Part 1 of Division 13
of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California) and
found that the public interest and necessity require, and ordered,
the acquisition of certain real property for parking purposes, and the
improvements of said property, all as more particularly described in
said ordinance; and
WHEREAS, the Superintendent of Streets of said City hereto-
fore filed with the City Clerk of said City an assessment of the cost
and expense of said acquisition and improvements; and
WHEREAS, said City Clerk has given notices of the filing of
said assessment and of the time and place set for the hearing on said
assessment and for the confirmation thereof as required by law, and
said Clerk has filed with this City Council affidavits setting forth
the time and manner of the publication and mailing of said notices;
and
WHEREAS, at the time and place stated in said notices a hear-
ing was duly held by this City Council, at which hearing said assess-
ment was duly presented and considered, and all written protests and
objections received, if any, were duly presented, read, heard, and
considered, and all persons desiring to be heard thereon were heard,
and all other persons appearing at said hearing and desiring to be
heard in the matter of said assessment were heard, and a full, fair
and complete hearing has been had, and this City Council is fully in-
formed in the premises; and
WHEREAS, all protests and objections, written and oral, if
any, made or filed in the matter of said assessment have been overrul-
ed and denied, and this City Council is satisfied with the correctness
of said assessment and the diagram attached thereto;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Temple City,
California, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLO,1S:
Section I. That said hearing has been duly held and notice
thereof duly given as set forth in the recitals hereof.
Section 2. That all protests and objections, written and
oral, if any, made or filed in the matter of said assessment, have
been, and are hereby overruled and denied, and this City Council is
satisfied with the correctness of said assessment and the diagram
attached thereto.
