FOR 39 CHROME AVENUE
WHEREAS, Jason A. Yacout of 39 Chrome Avenue has requested a Handicapped
Parking Space; and
WHEREAS, this individual has met the requirements of the Traffic Safety Bureau for
said parking space; and
WHEREAS, the Borough Engineer has inspected said location and has no objection to
the approval of said Handicapped Parking Space; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT AND IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the Mayor and
Council of the Borough of Carteret that the following Handicapped Parking Space shall
be designated;
39 CHROME AVENUE JASON A. YACOUT
Adopted this 25th day of March, 2004
and certified as a tree copy of the
original on March 26, 2004.

Dear Ms. Barney:
As requested, we have reviewed the applicant's request for the designation of an on-street handicapped
parking space to be located on Chrome Avenue in front of the referenced address. The property in question
does not provide for any off-street parking and on-street parking is permitted at this location. Furthermore,
as required by NJSA Title 39:4-197.5, the subject application indicates the applicant possesses a valid
disabled person identification card.
Therefore, since there are no physical or regulatory restrictions for designating a handicapped parking space
at this location, we have no objection to the Borough granting the applicant's request for a designated
handicapped parking space in front of 39 Chrome Avenue, subject to the approval of the Borough's Traffic
Safety Officer.
