EMERGENCY PUBLIC INFORMATION
OFFICER SERVICES
Dear Manager Gilbert:
SCOPE:
At the direction of the Village Manager and his designees, Key Content LLC will provide professional
Public Information Officer (P10) crisis and strategic communications and content creation for the
approach and aftermath of Hurricane Irma.
Professional PIO Services will commence Sept. 5`h' 2017 and will include:

Development of a key public safety messages and message calendar for pre- and post
storm phases.
Creation of social media posts on Facebook and Twitter and other platforms with
appropriate graphics.
Creation of Facebook Live streaming broadcasts as well as taped video messaging.
Assistance with media relations and other PIO consulting and communications services.
TERM:
The term of this agreement will be from date of acceptance until terminated by either party.
FEES:
Services will be billed to the Village at an hourly rate of sa o/hour (per PIO officer) in increments of one
(a) day, exclusive of direct expenses. [Direct expenses, such as lodging and transportation shall be
approved by the Village in advance].
