RESOLUTION NO. 1991 -7
A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN
FOR THE CITY OF GREENCASTLE, PUTNAM COUNTY, INDIANA
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the City of Greencastle, has
initiated the preparation of a Comprehensive Plan for the City of
Greencastle by Wabash Scientific, Inc., Michael R. Shaver,
President, which Comprehensive Plan is attached hereto as Exhibit
nAn.
WHEREAS, the Greencastle Plan Commission has reported that
it held a final public hearing concerning the approval and
certification of the Comprehensive Plan on March 26, 1991, after
timely notice of the hearing was given by publication in the
• Banner - Graphic Greencastle, Indiana, on March 15, 1991;
WHEREAS, the Greencastle Plan Commission, pursuant to I.C.
36 -7 -4 -508, approved the Comprehensive Plan;
WHEREAS, the Greencastle Plan Commission has certified the
Comprehensive Plan to the Common Council with a favorable
recommendation by a majority vote in favor of approval; and
WHEREAS, the Common Council has determined that the
Comprehensive Plan should be approved without amendment as
certified by the Greencastle Plan Commission.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF GREENCASTLE, INDIANA THAT PURSUANT TO I.C. 36 -7 -4 -509,
THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN IS ADOPTED WITHOUT AMENDMENT AS CERTIFIED
BY THE GREENCASTLE PLAN COMMISSION.
