A RESOLUTION:. AUTHORIZING PURCHASE OF REPLACEMENT TRUCKS FOR
UTILITY SYSTEM AND PLANT MAINTENANCE AND REPAIRS
WHEREAS, the approved Fiscal Year 2020 Department of Utilities budget includes
funding for purchase of replacement trucks for utility system and plant maintenance and repairs;
and
WHEREAS, quotes were solicited and received pursuant to the Virginia Public
Procurement Act; and the Town has opted to ride the Sourcewell contract with National Auto Fleet
Group; and
WHEREAS, the purchase price for the two vehicles is $432,777 has been negotiated; and

WHEREAS, the Town's Chief Procurement Officer, and the Director of Utilities
recommend purchase of the trucks to National Auto Fleet Group in the amount of$432,777.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED, by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia that the
Town Manager is authorized and directed to purchase the trucks from National Auto Fleet Group
of is equipment from Mid-Atlantic Waste Systems of Watsonville, CA in the amount of $432,777.
