OTHERS PRESENT: B.MURPHY, VILLAGE ADMINISTRATOR(ELECTRONIC); J.HARVEY, ATTORNEY (ELECTRONIC); M.GIBAS, VILLAGE CLERK (ELECTRONIC); A.PERSONS, PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR (ELECTRONIC); J.PROULX, PLANNING DIRECTOR(ELECTRONIC); L.SPIRES, BUILDING OFFICIAL (ELECTRONIC); T.PLECKHAM, MANAGEMENT SERVICES DIRECTOR (ELECTRONIC); R.KACZANKO, IT DIRECTOR(ELECTRONIC); J.MEYERS, ATTORNEY (ELECTRONIC), AND J.KONOPEK, CHIEF OF POLICE (ELECTRONIC). CALL TO ORDER, ROLL CALL, PLEDGE Mayor Collins called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Roll call was taken, all Trustees were present. Mayor Collins led the Pledge of Allegiance. PUBLIC COMMENTS (3-5 minutes) Clerk Gibas noted that a total of 22 public comments were received. • Courtney Panozzo submitted a public comment expressing concern regarding trucks driving through a residential subdivision. • Jean Atienza submitted a public comment expressing concern regarding trucks driving through a residential subdivision. • Margaret Kusmider submitted a public comment expressing concern regarding trucks driving through a residential subdivision and requested a decease in the speed limit on 143rd Street. • Courtney Ringa submitted a public comment expressing concern regarding trucks driving through a residential subdivision. • Nicole Sikora submitted a public comment expressing concern regarding trucks driving through a residential subdivision. • Jen McClellan submitted three (3) public comments expressing concern regarding trucks driving through a residential subdivision. • Amy Menconi submitted a public comment expressing concern regarding trucks driving through a residential subdivision. • Shannon Abbatacola submitted three (3)public comments regarding trucks driving through a residential subdivision and requesting to lower the speed limit on 143rd Street to 35 mph. • Emily Wiencek submitted a public comment expressing concern regarding trucks driving through a residential subdivision. • Andi Vanderhoek submitted two (2)public comments expressing concern regarding trucks driving through a residential subdivision. • Jon and Angie Laurenti submitted a public comment expressing concern regarding trucks driving through a residential subdivision. • Mike Ringa submitted a public comment expressing concern regarding trucks driving through a residential subdivision. • Chad Cartner submitted a public comment expressing concern regarding trucks driving through a residential subdivision. • Laurel Hillman submitted two (2)public comments expressing concern regarding trucks driving through a residential subdivision. • Jackie Cartner submitted a public comment expressing concern regarding trucks driving through a residential subdivision. Chief Konopek stated that the Police Department has posted temporary signs prohibiting truck traffic, are working with the GIS Mapping companies to remove the shortcut route through the subdivision, are working with Diego and Seefried, and have placed police at entrances to the subdivision. There was some further general discussion regarding the trucks driving through the subdivision. BUSINESS MEETING 1) APPROVAL OF AGENDA Trustee Larson moved to approve the Agenda. Second by Trustee Kalkanis. Vote by roll call Bonuchi, yes; Calkins,yes; Kalkanis,yes; Larson,yes; Wojowski,yes; Benton,yes; 6 yes, 0 no. Motion carried. 2) TRI-RIVER POLICE TRAINING LEASE AGREEMENT Trustee Bonuchi moved to authorize the Village President to execute a renewal of the lease agreement with Tri-River Police Training, Inc. to lease a portion of the Plainfield Law Enforcement Facility for a period of five (5)years with payment of lease to the Village for $2,000 per month. Second by Trustee Wojowski. Vote by roll call Bonuchi, yes; Calkins, yes; Kalkanis, yes; Larson, yes; Wojowski, yes; Benton, yes; 6 yes, 0 no. Motion carried. 3) TIME-LIMIT PARKING ORDINANCE Trustee Larson moved to adopt Ordinance No. 3459, an ordinance Repealing Chapter 5, Article VI, section 5-172.1(b), and amending Chapter 5, Article VI, sections 5-172.1(c) and (d) of the Village of Plainfield Code of Ordinances. Second by Trustee Kalkanis. Vote by roll call Bonuchi, yes; Calkins, yes; Kalkanis, yes; Larson, yes; Wojowski, yes; Benton, yes; 6 yes, 0 no. Motion carried. Trustee Larson moved to adjourn. Second by Trustee Bonuchi. Voice Vote. All in favor, 0 opposed. Motion carried. The -- ing adjourned at 7:28 p.m. ?Cly Michelle Gibas, Village Clerk
