Schindlbeck -Liaison PLAINFIELD BOARD OF POLICE COMMISSIONERS MEETING MINUTES January 16, 2020 Commissioner Greg Chapman called the January 16, 2020 meeting of the Board of Police Commissioners to order at 6:00pm. In attendance were Commissioner Chapman, Commissioner Gardner, Commissioner Schindlbeck, Chief Konopek, Kim McKinney, Michael Thomason from Stanard & Associates, Inc. and a group of students from Plainfield North High School. Public Forum: Citizen's Comments-None. Commissioner Chapman took a few minutes to introduce the Board of Police Commissioners and its functions to the students in attendance. The minutes of the November 21, 2019 meeting were read, and Commissioner Chapman moved the minutes to be approved, Commissioner Schindlbeck seconded the motion. All in favor. Correspondence-Invoice from Stanard & Associates, Inc. for personality evaluation of entry level selection was presented to the Board. The Commissioners voted to approve. Old Business-The Board moved to approve the 2019 Continued Entry Level Police Officer Register. All in favor. Commission secretary Kim McKinney will post the final list in the lobby of Police Department. New Business-Michael J. Thomason from Stanard & Associates, Inc. presented to the Board what services Stanard & Associates, Inc. provides for testing of both Entry Level Police Officer Testing and Promotional Testing. Before beginning his presentation, Commissioner Chapman and Michael Thomason gave a brief description of what the testing process entails to the Plainfield North High School students. Executive Session-At 7:20pm Commissioner Chapman excused all public members from the meeting to begin executive session.
