The Watertown Licensing Board has continued its hearing on the application of Taha
Grill, Inc. d/b/a Jana Grill & Bakery for an All Alcohol Common Victualer License to be
exercised at 2 Watertown Street. The application was originally scheduled for hearing on
December 20, 2018, and was continued at the request of the applicant to January 17, 2019. By
letter dated January 15, 2019, counsel for the applicant requested a further continuance to the
Board's February meeting date. The continued hearing on this application will be held on
February 21, 2019 at 7:15 p.m. in the Philip Pane Hearing Room, Administration Building, 149
Main Street, Watertown, MA.

The Watertown Licensing Board has continued its hearing on the application of Yogi
Resources, Inc. for approval of alteration of its premises at 218 Waverley Avenue licensed for
Wine and Malt Package Goods Store Sales. The application was originally scheduled for hearing
on January 17, 2019, but the applicant had not given the required notice of hearing to the
designated abutters. The continued hearing on this application will be held on February 21, 2019
at 7:15 p.m. in the Philip Pane Hearing Room, Administration Building, 149 Main Street,
Watertown, MA.

The Watertown Licensing Board met to consider the application of AMBA
Convenience, Inc. for a transfer to it of the wine and malt package goods store license held by
Francis Food Mart, Inc. for exercise at 1084 Belmont Street. At that time, the Board
acknowledged receipt of a January 14 e-mail message from counsel for the applicant requesting
leave to withdraw the application, and stating that a new application would be filed in the future.
The Board voted unanimously to grant leave to withdraw the application without
prejudice.

The Watertown Licensing Board has continued its show cause hearing on a complaint of
the Watertown Police Department alleging violations of G.L. c.138 (the Liquor Control Act) on
October 11, 2018 at your premises located at 394-396 Main Street licensed for all alcohol
common victualer service. The hearing was originally scheduled for January 17, 2019, but only
two members of the Board were present and the licensee accepted the Board's offer of the option
to continue the hearing until it could be convened by the full 3 -member board. The continued
hearing will be held on February 21, 2019 at 7:15 p.m. in the Philip Pane Hearing Room,
Administration Building, 149 Main Street, Watertown, MA.
