Additionally, all Planning Commission meetings are tape-recorded and are available to the public for listening at the Town Center Offices from 8:30am-2:00 pm, Monday through Friday, by contacting the Planning Office at 970/827-5645 302 Pine St. Mintum, CO 81645. Regular Session — 6:30 you 1. Call to Order Chair L. Teach called the meeting to order at 6:30pm Roll Call Those present: Chair Lynn Teach, Jeff Armistead, Greg Gastineau and Greg Sparhawk. Note: Lauren Dickie and Burlce Harrington mere excused absent. Pledge of Allegiance 2. Approval of Agenda ® Items to be Pulled or Added Motion by Greg S., second by Jeff A. to approve the agenda as presented. Motion passed 4-0. 3. Approval of Minutes • January 10, 2018 Motion by Jeff A., second by Greg G. to approve the minutes of January 10, 2018 as amended, with a typo. Motion passed 4-0. 4. Public comments on items, which are NOT on the agenda (5 -minute time limit per person) 5. Planning Commission Comments Greg G. shared that an acquaintance works for the firm who Battle Mtn hired for the first 200 units. They expressed to him that their opinion is: `Battle Mtn impressed me, they really want to do the right thing, concerning the design and whole project." 6. Planning Director Report Janet H. updated the commission on Dowd Junction. The Forest Service gave a presentation to the Mayors & Manager meeting. It was discussed at this meeting the Forest Service will make a direct sale to Minturn. This is why it was in the newspaper. Eagle Valley Land Trust is working with the town on a GOCO grant for funding for the Boneyard Conservation Easement. 7. Minturn Water System Impact Fee - Application & Recommendation to Council Motion to Approve Application & Recommendation as Presented Motion by Jeff A., second by Greg G., that the System Improvement Fee (SIF) and the new water tap application, be presented to Council as revised by Town staff. Motion passed 4-0. 8. Next Meeting— February 14, 2018 9. Adjournment Motion by Greg G., second by Greg S. to adjourn the meeting at 7:00 pm. Motion passed 4-0.
