PRESENT: Chairman James West , Member Bill Koester, Member Ray Hart , Assistant Clerk

ABSENT: Member Gary Elliott and Member Jason Cooper
VISITORS: None
Chairman West led with the Pledge of Allegiance, and welcomed everyone.
Approval of Minutes: Chairman West entertained a motion. Member Hart moved to approve
the minutes for June 8, 2022 . Member Koester seconded the motion. All are in favor , so the
motion carried .

Chairman West noted there were no visitors to make any comments.
Public Hearings
Ordinance to Amend Iona City Code§ 10-1-17 (B) (4); clarifying Requirements for Public
Ways in the Iona Subdivision Ordinance (Ord. 278-07-22)
Member Hart noted that this discussion was due to the issue that they had last month with the
cul-de-sac in Elim Estates. Chairman West confirmed, and stated that City Council seemed to
have taken their notes and added clarifying language to the code .
Member Hart motioned that they approve the amendment Ordinance to Amend§ 10-1-17(8)(4);
clarifying Requirements for Public Ways in the Iona Subdivision Ordinance (Ord . 278-07-22)
As written. Member Koester seconded the motion. All are in favor , so the motion carries.
Ordinance to Amend Iona City Code §§ 11-2-5, 11-3-5, 11-4-5, 11-4A-6, 11-5-6, 11-6-5 and
11-7-5; clarifying Side Yard Setback Requirements for Corner Lots (Ord. 279-07-22)
Member Hart asked if there was a reason why this was brought up. Chairman West noted that it
might be a clarification brought by the City Council. He stated that they aren 't changing the
numbers ; they are simply adding clarifying language in section B . He stated that it looked like
the adjustments were just cleaning up the language.
Chairman West makes a motion that they approve the amendment. Member Hart seconded the
motion . All in favor , the motion carries.
Member Hart made a motion to adjourn the meeting . Chairman West seconded the motion. All in
favor , motion carried .
