INITIATING AMENDMENT OF THE LEESBURG ZONING ORDINANCE,
SETTING A PUBLIC HEARING AND REFERRING THE PROPOSED
AMENDMENT TO THE PLANNING COMMISSION
RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg, Virginia,
as follows:
SECTION I. An amendment of the Leesburg Zoning Ordinance to
establish flood zone district regulations is hereby initiated.
The text of the proposed amendment is the same as described in
a May 27, 1977 memorandum to this Council.
SECTION II. A joint Council-Planning Commission public hear-
ing on the proposed amendment shall be held beginning at 7:30 P.M.
July 21 , 1977 and advertised as required by law. The
Clerk shall advise the Planning Commission of the time and date
of public hearing.
SECTION III. The proposed amendment is referred to the Plan-
ning Commission for its review and recommendation.
