AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING PARKING ANY TIME ON CERTAIN
DESIGNATED STREET(S) OR SECTIONS THEREOF
BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Borough Council of the Borough of
'Carteret, a municipal corporation of the State of New Jersey, located in Middlesex
County, thereof, as follows:
Section 1. The following street(s) or sections thereof shall be designated for
"No Parking Any Time":
Name of Street Side Location
Washington Avenue North Beginnning at the
intersection of Roosevelt
Avenue and Washington
Avenue/Lower to Linden
Avenue
Washington Avenue East & West From Louis Street to the
intersection of Washington
and Roosevelt Avenue/Upper
Section 2. Any previously adopted Ordinances and/or schedules related thereto
designating Washington Avenue, or any sections thereof, for "No Parking Any
Time" are hereby repealed in their entirety.
Section 3. All Ordinances and/or provisions thereof inconsistent with the
provision of this Ordinance shall be and are hereby repealed as to the extent of
any such inconsistencies.
Section 4. If any section, subsection, part, clause or phrase of this Ordinance
shall be declared invalid by judgment of any Court of competent jurisdiction, the
section, subsection, part, clause or phrase shall be deemed to be sever able from
the remainder of this Ordinance.
Section 5. This Ordinance shall take effect upon passage and publication
according to applicable law and upon approval of the same by the New Jersey
Department of Transportation and/or the County of Middlesex as may be
required.
