MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETINGS: Special Meeting - July 31, 2006 Regular Meeting - August 1, 2006 CONTRACTUAL AGREEMENTS EXECUTED BY THE CITY MANAGER DURING FEBRUARY- JULY 2006 Comments: The City of Lynwood's Purchasing Procedures give the City Manager authority to execute and enter into contracts that are less than fifteen thousand dollars ($15,000). The Purchasing Rules also instruct the City Manager to prepare and submit on a semi-annual basis a report on contracts executed during the proceeding six months, which range in value from five thousand dollars ($5,000) to fifteen thousand dollars ($15,000). This report accomplishes this goal. Background: The City of Lynwood's Pumhasing Procedures (established by Ordinance No. 1571) give the City Manager (the City's Purchasing Officer) authority to execute and enter into contracts that are less than fifteen thousand dollars ($15,000). The Purchasing Rules also instruct the City Manager to prepare and submit a report on a semi-annual basis, to the City Council providing a listing of contracts that were executed during the proceeding six months. The report shall include routine services and all contracts for professional services that exceed five thousand ($5,000) dollars, and are less than fifteen thousand ($15,000) dollars that were executed under the City Manager's authority. Attachment "A" provides a listing of contracts between $5,000 and $15,000 for both the City of Lynwood and Lynwood Redevelopment Agency (LRA) that were executed February 1, 2006 through July 31,2006.
