Mayor Umstattd will be officiating. Legacy Orthodontics is the practice of Dr. Markus Niepraschk. A Virginia native, Dr. Niepraschk graduated first in his class from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry and completed an additional two-year advanced educational program in the exclusive study of orthodontics at Marquette University. Dr. Niepraschk creates individualized treatment plans for every patient using the most up-to- date techniques and orthodontic knowledge and is a firm believer in continuing education. His high attention to accuracy and detail will help ensure a beautiful smile and a healthy bite. He welcomes parents in the treatment area so they can be informed of treatment progress at each appointment. To make for a pleasant orthodontic experience for both patients and their parents, the office features an internet café, refreshment bar, and video games. The ribbon cutting will kick off a full host of activities planned from 11:00 am till 2:00 pm to celebrate the Grand Opening of Legacy Orthodontics. Guests will have the opportunity to meet Dr. Niepraschk and his staff while touring the office. Free pizza will be provided from CiCi’s Pizza and there will be drawings for prizes including a set of braces, a one hour Laser Tag Certificate from Games2U and an i-Pod Touch. Kids will also have the opportunity to experience the Games2U mobile video game theatre, try their luck at the prize wheel, meet Pelukyta the Clown and have their face painted.
