Mayor Kristen C. Umstattd will be officiating. “Please come join the Sermbhongse Family -- Noom, Apple, and Aunty Goong -- as we serve you authentic Thai cuisine,” invited owner, Noom Sermbhongse. “We use fresh, locally grown vegetables from the Leesburg Farmer’s Market, along with fresh herbs and spices from our gardens to flavor our dishes.” The name Aiyara (i-ya-ra) in the Thai language means “elephant”, a very meaningful symbol for loyalty, friendliness, good fortune and happiness. To thank the Leesburg community for their support and patronage during this first year, Aiyara Thai Restaurant will be offering a special discount of 50% off meals all day on October 5.
