Wayne Neddermeyer - Mayor in Chair Priscilla Arens - Clerk All members present The minutes of the meeting of April 3, 1973 read. Moved .by Arthur Theis to approve the minutes as read. Seconded by Donald Des Lauriers Motion. carried. The minutes of the Planning Commission meeting of April 16th, 1973 read. William Torodor sppeared with regard to the sewer plant at the theater. He reported all the repairs were made. Moved by Thomas Stevens to approve the Outdoor Theater license for 1973• Seconded by Donald Des Lauriers Motion carried. Jim Wold of the Hennepin County Highway Department appeared with regard changes to be made on Hwy. 19 from #12 to #24. Studied the matter and also discussed the County taking over Hamel Road, at least up to Boyer Landfill. Marion Duncan of Pierz appeared with regard to a farm she has in Medina which is landl©eked. Moved by Robert Franklin to refer the problem of the read into this property- to the Village Attorney and he to send a report to Miss Duncan. Seconded by Thomas Stevens Motion carried. Everett Thies ohairman of the Village Hall Committee presented the plans for the future village hall and explained the different aspects .of the plans. Moved by Robert Franklin to set a tentative date for a public hearing for May 22; 1973 at 8 P. M. at Medina Lanes and we have a special meeting for setting up a time table for a referendum, said meeting to be on May 7, 1973 at 7 P. M. Seconded b Donald Des Lauriers Motion carried Dennis Burgess presented his plat of the Burgess Lakeshore Estates. Moved by Robert Franklin that we give preliminary approval of the plat of the Burgess Lakeshore Estates, subject to the folowing conditions: 1. Development meetsState shore management standards for a recreational development lake except soil absopption set backs should be 100 feet. 2. That soil absorption systems meet the 1971 individual sewage disposal system code standard of the Minnesota Department of Health. 3. That the saarplans be approved by the Zo ng Administrator . 4. That the park fee be set at/31000.00/Ptutguor $1175.00 and 5. Platting fee of 8150;00, and 6. that the road be brou:;ht up to Village code and the entry to the State Highway should be approved by the State. Seconded by Donald Des Lauriers Notion carried. " Ken Hayes appeared for approval of a link fence around his yard. Moved by Thomas Stevens to give approval to Ken Hayes for erecting a'link fence around the back yard. Seconded by Arthur Theis Motion carried Arnold Osland appeared with regard to releasing lots in the Independence Beach area. Moved by Robert Fralin to approve to rdlease Lots 8 and 10 Block 10 Independence Beach. Seconded by Thomas Stevens Motion carried Moved by Robert Franklin that we ha,re not more than one-third of the Planning Commission with two year residency. Seco ded by Thomas Ste --ens Motion carried. Moved by Robert Franklin to abolish the term 'limit on the Planning Commission.
