RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
CONTRACT FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret has been in need of engineering services in
connection with the creation of the Carteret Redevelopment Agency and the
implementation of the Lower Roosevelt Avenue Redevelopment Plan; and
WHEREAS, the firm of Schoor DePalma, Inc. possesses the requisite expertise
to provide the necessary engineering services; and
WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer certified that the funds are available for
said purpose;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the
Borough of Carteret that the firm of Schoor DePalma, Inc. is hereby retained to
provide specialized engineenng services in connection with the creation of the
Carteret Redevelopment Agency and the implementation of the Lower Roosevelt
Avenue Redevelopment Plan for an amount not to exceed $7000.00 billable per
attached contract; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this award is made without competitive
bids as a Professional Services Contract pursuant to N.J.S.A 40A: 11-5(1)(a).
