AN ORDINANCE TO TRANSFER WITHIN THE MOTOR VEHICLE HIGHWAY BUDGET THE
SUM OF TEN THOUSAND,THREE HUNDRED FIFTY FIVE DOLLARS AND THIRTEEN CENTS
($10,355.13) FROM "SERVICES CONTRACTUAL" (2-25-251) REPAIR TO BLDGS.
& STRUCTURES ($2,300.00), FROM "SERVICES CONTRACTUAL" (2-26-261) RENTAL
OF EQUIPMENT ($1,500.00), FROM "SERVICES CONTRACTUAL" (2-26-263) OTHER
CONTRACTUAL SERVICES ($193.00), FROM "MATERIALS" (4-42-425) STREETS,
ALLEYS, CURBS & SIDEWALKS ($6,042.50) AND FROM "PROPERTIES" (7-72-722)
MOTOR EQUIPMENT ($319.63) TO "SERVICES CONTRACTUAL" (2-21-214) TELEPHONE
& TELEGRAPH ($276.48), TO "SERVICES CONTRACTUAL" (2-22-221) ELECTRIC
CURRENT ($3,285.12), TO "SERVICES CONTRACTUAL" (2-26-264) LAUNDRY, DRY
CLEANING ($1,400.6,T), TO "SUPPLIES" (3-32-321) GASOLINE ($5,288.02) AND -
TO "SUPPLIES" (3-32-322) OIL ($104.87).
WHEREAS, certain extraordinary emergencies have developed since the
adoption of the existing annual budget so that it is now necessary
to appropriate more money for various functions of the City Government
than was appropriated to the annual budget.
SECTION 1. BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond,
Indiana, that for the expenses of the City Government and its institutions
for the year ending December 31, 1975, the following amount of money
is hereby appropriated and set apart out of the fund named and for the
purpose specified. Said sum being subject to all laws governing the
same. Such amount appropriated shall be held to include all expenditures
to be made during the year unless expressly stipulated by law.
SECTION 2. That for the said fiscal period there is hereby appropriated
the following specified amount to meet the extraordinary emergency that
exists:

SECTION 3. WHEREAS, it has been shown that certain existing appropria-
tions now have unobligated balances which will not be used for purpose
which appropriated.
IT IS THEREFORE ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond,
Indiana, that such unnecessary existing appropriation be now reduced in
amount as follows:

SECTION 4. An extraordinary emergency exists for the above appropriation.
SECTION 5. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage and approval by the Mayor and is subject to the laws
of the State of Indiana, governing emergency appropriations.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond,
