RESOLUTION APPROVING ENTERING INTO CONTRACT WITH MSA CONSULTANTS
PROFESSIONAL SERVICES_ AGREEMENT FOR•FRINGE AREA PLANNING
WHEREAS: City Council of Tiffin requested a proposal for professional consulting services
for assistance in future Fringe Area Planning for the City of Tiffin, Iowa.
WHEREAS: MSA Consultants Professional Services presented a detailed 'outline of services r
to be provided for any future expansion of the City of Tiffin into the Fringe Area surrounding the
corporate city limits.
WHEREAS: THE City Council reviewed such proposal and its contents,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, BY The City Council of Tiffin, Iowa to accept the proposal
from MSA Consultants Professional Services for the amount of $7,500.00.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, BY The City Council of Tiffin, Iowa to authorize the Mayor
and the City Clerk to sign Professional Service Agreement with MSA Consultants Professional
` Services and to direct the firm proceed with planning process.
At a regular meeting of City Council on the 12th day of October 2011 Resolution 2011-47
RESOLUTION APPROVING ENTERING INTO CONTRACT WITH MSA CONSULTANTS
PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT FOR FRINGE AREA PLANNING was introduced
by Councilperson Chris Ball and made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by
Councilperson Travis Weipert.
AYES: Chris Ball, Jim Bartels, Mark Petersen, Travis Weipert
NAY: None
ABSENT: Mike Gericke

WHEREUPON with:Four votes for approval, Mayor Phillips now declares Resolution 2011-47
RESOLUTION APPROVING ENTERING INTO CONTRACT WITH MSA CONSULTANTS
PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT FOR FRINGE AREA PLANNING passed and
confirms this action by affixing his signature.
