AUTHORIZING A CONTRACT FOR CONSTRUCTION OF A WATER
MAIN
WHEREAS the need for installation of the water main across
the Leesburg Country Club Golf Course is urgent and time con-
straints do not allow competitive bidding:
RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg, Virginia,
as follows:
SECTION I. The Town Manager is authorized and directed to
enter into a time and materials contract with Perry Engineering
Company of Leesburg, Virginia, for installation of 1,021 linear
feet of 8-inch water line in an amount not to exceed $35,577.34.
SECTION II. An appropriation is hereby made to Account No.
50000.801, Waterworks Capital Project~ in the amount of $35,577.34.
