CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS

CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS SUMMARY
Again this year, we plan to continue making capital improvements within the city. The largest
project this year will be the construction of a new city yard facility. The total cost of this project
is estimated at $1,600,000; with $739,000 having been funded in FY 1991-92, $333,862 being
funded in this fiscal year, and $527,138 to be funded in FY 1993-94.
Of the $739,000 that was funded in FY 1991-92, $455,000 was originally appropriated for the
Country Club median project. This project has been postponed and will be rebudgeted in a future
fiscal year.
In addition, other projects for streets and trails are planned for this year. The individual capital
projects are identified on the following page. Below is a breakdown of the general categories in
this capital improvements program:

Besides these general fund capital improvements, several projects are planned for this fiscal year
that are being funded by Special Revenue funds. These projects are detailed on pages 60 and 61
in the blue section of this document.
