ENDORSING THE USE OF VIRGINIA COMMISSION OF OUTDOOR
RECREATION FUNDS AND AUTHORIZING FOR LATER CONSIDERA-
TION BY COUNCIL A PRELIMINARY PROJECT DATA REPORT
FOR SUBMITTAL TO THE COMMISSION.
RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg, Virginia, as
follows:
SECTION I. This Council endorses the use of Virginia
Commission of Outdoor Recreation funds to partially finance the
acquisition of land and/or development of facilities for recreation,
when such projects are 'in accordance with the Comprehensive Plan
and approved by the Council.
SECTION II. The Manager is authorized and directed to prepare
alternative recreational facility projects for later consideration
by Council for which Virginia Commission of Outdoor Recreation funds
will be sought.
