WHEREAS, the Leesburg Planning Commission, at a special meeting held on July 20, 1978, recommended a certain proposed amendment to Section 8-1 of the Leesburg Zoning Ordinance, and WHEREAS, the Leesburg Planning Commission initiated the proposed amendment and processed it according to the requirements of the Code of Virginia, and WHEREAS, the Code of Virginia requires that a public hearing be advertised and held prior to the enactment of an amendment to the Leesburg Zoning Ordinance; NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia, as follows: That the following advertisement be published in the Loudoun August 17 , 1978 and August 24 , Times-Mirror on 1978: PUBLIC NOTICE Notice is hereby given that a Public Hearing will be held by the Leesburg Town Council on September 13 1978, at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers, '10 West Loudoun Street, Leesburg, Virginia, to consider a proposed amendment to Section 8-1 of the Leesburg Zoning Ordinance by deleting the words "3 stories or 40 feet" under the height maximum in the MC Medical-Hospital Center District and inserting in place thereof the words "Same as R-I." -2- At this hearing all interested persons desiring to express their views pertinent to the proposed amendment will be heard.
