REVISION TO AN ENGINEERING AGREEMENT
WITH BENGTSON, DEBELL & ELKIN, INC.,FOR DESIGN
OF EVERGREEN MILL WELL SUPPLIES
WHEREAS the Council at its meeting on June 14, 1978, authorized
the contract with Bengtson, DeBell & Elkin, Inc., of Centreville,
Virginia for design and preparation of plans and specifications
and contract administration for Evergreen Mill Well supply building
and equipment as described in their June 7, 1978 proposal no. 78-48
in an amount not to exceed $25,739.
RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg, Virginia, as
follows:
SECTION I. The manager is authorized and directed to revise
a contract with Bengtson, DeBell & Elkin, Inc., consulting engineers
of Centreville, Virginia, as outlined in their letter dated
September 18, 1978, in the amount of $1850. This increase is due
to changes in the scope of their original proposal number 78-48
dated June 7, 1978.
SECTION II. An appropriation is hereby made for the fiscal
year ending June 30, 1979 to the Utility-Restricted Fund account
no. 20500.805, Waterworks Improvements in the amount of $1850.
