The Council of the Village of Medina met in reular session Tuesday evening,
May 2, 1967 at 7:32 P. M.

Minutes of the previous meeting of April 4, 1967 read. Moved by Arthur Theis
that the minutes be approved as read.
Seconded by Harold Winterhalter.
Motion carried.
Minutes of the Planning Commission meeting of April 17, 1967 read.
Moved by Rayburn Anderson to pass an ordinance to increase the Planning
Commission to nine members.
Seconded by Raymond Bosch
Motion carried.
Moved by Harold Winterhalter to adopt the Resolution covering the agreement
with the Hennepin County Park Reserve for policing the Park for 1967.
Seconded by Rayburn Anderson.
Motion carried.
Moved by Raymond Bosch to set the time for the meeting of the Board of
Review at 6:00 P. M. on June 20, 1967.
Seconded by Harold Winterhalteb.
Motion carried.
Moved by Harold Winterhalter that under no circumstances will the Council
consider any building permits or special use permits without first having
been acted upon by the Planning Commission.
Seconded by Raymond Bosch.

Letter from County Auditor with regard to North Hennepin State Junior College.
Moved by Raymond Bosch to table the matter until we have more information
on the matter.

charge, if requested.

Medina Recreations, Inc.

Moved by Harold Winterhalter that we instruct our attorney to draw up a lease
agreement for Mr. Wesson, covering that portion of7the pole shed which extends
on village property.

Motion carried.
Arthur Theis reported on two welfare cases. He also reported on his meeting
with Engineer Mills with regard to draining the Medina-Morningside Park.
Moved by Rayburn Anderson to authorize Park Chairman Arthur Theis to proceed
with having the work done at the Medina-Morningside Park.
Seconded by Harold Winterhalter.

Moved by Harold Winterhalter to pay the bills of order checks in the amount
of $1567.92 and payroll checks in the amount of $1321.01.
Seconded by Raymond Bosch.
